With energetic songs and electrifying live performances, Sonic Volt is creating the buzz that makes this band one you should have on your radar! 

Sonic Volt is a Dallas, TX band delivering aggressive, yet catchy, songs with the grungy intensity of Nirvana and the grit and defiance of punk! Sonic Volt sparked to life after founder Hope Hendrix (vocals) met El Guero Peligroso (guitar) in September 2025 and Andres Arce (drums) in October 2025. The three joined to become a punk rock trio (with Hope on bass). Peligroso and Andres quickly learned ten songs Hope had written, adding their own razzle dazzle to perfect each song. 

Sonic Volt played their first show together in December 2025 and have been going full throttle ever since. Sonic Volt traveled to Santa Ana, California in February of 2026 to record two singles with David Dominguez (Papa Roach, The Offspring, Weezer, Guns ‘N Roses) at the venerable Maple Sound Studios (where Motorhead and Pennywise have recorded). 

With the addition of Spuds McSpudsie on bass in June of 2026, Sonic Volt now has the final element to kick down doors and bring their sizzling brand of grungy punk to the masses. With Spuds now dominating the low end, Sonic Volt got back into the studio in July of 2026 at Reeltime Audio in Denton, Texas, which is under the helm of well-respected Grammy award winner, Eric Delegard. Sonic Volt is recording with Delegard and releasing a new track every four weeks, so stay locked in.
